New Info! 03/23/03-
OK! Pikmin 2 (not actuall title yet) is on its way! It seems that Olimar has a new friend for this adventure, and that a multiplayer feature IS available! The story and overall, uhh, game is unkown, but we know that Olimar has a new friend and that it follows along with traditional Pikmin gameplay! There is a new Pikmin breed! Yup the 3 orignals: red, yellow, and blue are in the game; plus a new purple/black breed! I am also sure that there is an alien-looking one too. Also, there is a STRANGE new bulborb breed! Check it out on the screenshots page.

TONS of new information! There are 2 new breeds, a fat-purple one and a white one (their flowers are violet!). There is a new feature in the game: electricity, which yellows are apparently the only ones ressistant to it. And there are tons of new enemies in the game! The story of this game is simple. Olimar's interstellar dilivary service is going bankrupt. They are in debt for over 10,000 pokos (their money)!! So Olimar and a young collegue are sent to the Pikmin's planet to retrieve valuable items to repay their debts. You can collect everything from gold rings to rubber bath duckies!! I have also uncovered a whole bunch of claymations from Pikmin 2!

It's been awhile, huh? Well I'm not so happy to report that Nintendo may be delaying the release of Pikmin 2! BUGGERS! Sources tell me that, instead of an awsome fall release, the game may come out in the 2nd (YES THE DANG SECOND) quarter of 2004! Ok, this blows. Well, mabey they're trying to surprise us? Well, in any matter, I am VERY pissed!

The two new types of Pikmin, white and purple, have different traits. The white ones are immune to poisen and the purple ones are stronger even than reds, I believe.
